Hello,
I am Grandma! The grand adventure leading me to Grandma's Princess began several years ago, I just did not know it until now.I have two adult daughters. A very feminine girl who is my first child and five years later my wonderful second daughter came along with her fun personality and athletic abilities. She loved basketball and track, among other sports. She gave me so many happy times cheering her on louder than any other parent there. It came as no surprise to me that her wonderful baby boy grew to love athletics as much as his mom did. He loves baseball, swimming, boy scouts, bike riding and much more! I love cheering him on as I did his mother. He is my "Little Man".
Having had a delicate, feminine experience with lace and frills with my first daughter, it was a joy to me when she had a beautiful daughter of her own, my "Doll Face". When given the choice of going toy shopping or going to a boutique or shoe store, we could always count on spending time with her trying on clothes and/or shoes. "Doll Face" loves to play princess dress-up and have tea parties with her friends. While visiting her this summer I was invited to witness first-hand the wonderful world of laughter and giggles (ahh, they were using manners, too!) as they had their pretend tea party. They all loved playing princess dress-up and drinking tea (a.k.a. pink lemonade) from a china cup.
Now, as a Grandmother, I am ready for a career change. For the last so many years I took pride in taking care of the elderly. As a caregiver, some of my Alzheimer's patients are fun-loving, happy children in older bodies. The experience has given me great pleasure, more than anyone could imagine.
As the time comes near to the end of a career, I have a new and joyous adventure to embark upon thanks to my precious Doll Face's Tea Party!
The decision to pursue this new dream led me to Historic Apex, NC, where I purchased a lovely home. The home is almost completely renovated and decorated. I am enjoying accessorizing it for the most unforgettable Fairytale Princess experience! We opened in September, 2007, and I look forward to greeting the many giggles of all the Princesses to come!
Welcome to my Enchanted Princess Wonderland!
